I don't understand why he wouldn't expect this. A sequence 1 item is usually created when a sequence 1 being dies and their characteristics merge with something. Unless someone intentionally separated it of course it would contain the sequence 2 characteristic, no? It's not like someone brewed a sequence 1 potion and threw it on a cloak.

It's actually possible to have a separate sequence 1 characteristic minus previous potions. Also, this particular characteristic disappeared long ago and had Ben kept in that fog barrier so it wasn't the result of some seq 1 dying. Remember, there has never been a sequence 0 Fool as far as we know so, this characteristic has never really been found by others and used.
但把序列1特性直接分离出来，保留之前的魔药是完全可以做到的。而且，这个特性很久之前就消失了，一直被保存在雾气的壁障之中，所以它没有导致任何一个序列1死亡。要记得，据我们目前所知道的，之前从来没有出现过一个序列0愚者，所以这个特性之前从来没有被人找到和使用过。
