I quite like how the author made the official churches in this novel. They actually practice what they preach and are actually on the good side, or at least neutral. This makes the world a lot less black and white. In most webnovels, they just act as the one-dimensional, cartoonish villains.
我真的很喜欢作者在这本书里对官方和教会的描写。他们其实就是一直在践行他们自己的主张，而且其实是站在好人一边的，至少是中立。这让这个世界显得不是那么非黑即白。在大部分网文里面，他们只是会被拿去充当一些单薄的、卡通化的反派。

The church's seem good, but I still wonder about the gods. I can't help but think Roselle's warning of 'the Moon' was meant for the Evernight Goddess. She might be helping Klein only to swoop in at the last minute to claim all the spoils.
教会看起来是挺好，但我对于神究竟如何还是有疑虑。我不禁觉得罗赛尔之前关于“月亮”的警告指的就是黑夜女神。她可能是在帮助克莱恩，但目的就是为了在最后一刻突然袭击，抢走所有的战利品。

I feel that she's more on the neutral side. Not good, but not evil either. Also, it's not like She's helping Klein for free. I think it's mostly payback for helping Her obtain Death's authority. Klein has to work hard as a Blessed to receive more help too.
