I don't think the royal family is that weak and easily influenced... the fact of that prince committing ******* and his spirit body totally vanishing after the disaster means they have demigods in their payroll. That last revenge of Klein's, who was unable to remember the way to the royal family's mausoleum, that demigod who erased the traces of the family's connection to the slave trade, and the fact they can balance out the three churches in influence, makes me believe that the royal family has a lot of demigod beyonders they can call on. The factions within it probably have angels leading them. So Klein has to tread lightly, especially with many super powerful enemies looking for his tracks
