At least he can divine the after the fact above the grey fog...tricky part is the symbol. But it would suck to not get the next portion formula.

Generally speaking, I don't think Zaratul would give up the formula he has hidden so completely from all his subordinates in the Secret Order. However he is probably not 100% sure that Klein is completely incapable of divining its authenticity so perhaps he is willing to give it up and avoid arousing Klein's suspicions? Perhaps he doesn't expect Klein to leave this place alive or intends to personally kill him to prevent the formula from leaking in his scheme. I'm leaning towards real.

What if... Maybe the... ahhh forget it, I could ramble for a few paragraphs about whether I think who is betraying or setting up what here or about whether or not the possibility fake symbol is a friendly gesture so Klein might sacrifice his puppet to take care of the others or some trap to improve the “dead” guy’s own situation or something but I just have no clue how many betrayals and plans are happening here
