With seq 6 scribe, though, they can still teleport using the Traveler's Doorway, but that power itself is really risky as it exposes them more to Mr Door's greetings. Fors technically should not have heard Mr Door as she is not of the family blood, so like Lewis, but she used the traveler's bracelet artifact.
