Shiro raised an eyebrow. "About what?"
"Well,I mean-"
"You look like you want to talk," Shiro interrupted. 
Lance swallowed nervously and nodded slowly. He scratched the back of his neck awkwardly.

"Uhh," Lance muttered shifting uncomfortably in his seat. His mind raced to figure out what to say. He knew that Shiro would want to know why he came over today and wanted to talk to him about the upcoming date that they were going on and about the girl. But he hadn't figured out what he should say.

He couldn't lie,there wouldn't be an easy way to tell Shiro that he had a girlfriend. There wasn't anything that he could possibly think would make him more upset.
Lance bit his lip and shifted his attention back to his chair. He took a deep breath and exhaled shakily before speaking.
