Well, even if he survived, there will be close to none employer left in backlund to hire him. I know what I say might be cruel, but dying now along with 90% of backlund citizens is probably for the best. Just imagine Daisy, walking out of the cathedral to find herself being alone.... IMO, it's more painful than dying tbh.
