第二十二章：后来发生了什么(2)
“多奇怪的龙啊，”小嗝嗝想。“这龙可以在瞬间从残忍转变为无私的善良。”
“走吧，”耐心说。
“走吧~~”，天真和傲慢重复道。
“我们不会淹死的。”耐心向他保证。“我们有鳃。”
小嗝嗝从蛊惑、催眠的目光中低下头，继续研究着捕龙陷阱。“你撒谎，你们不是海龙。”小嗝嗝简短地说。相信小嗝嗝，他知道龙种。“你们是天空龙。这些鳃只在一定程度上有效。”
但过了一会儿，他向卡米卡琪喊了一声。卡米卡琪正在他们周围巡逻，脸上带着最凶狠的沼泽飞贼式表情，两把拔出的剑握在手中。
“卡米卡琪，”他尽量装作若无其事地说，“也许你该回到那艘沙艇上去找人帮忙了。”
“你把我当成什么白痴了？”卡米卡琪极其恼怒地回敬道。“我不是五岁小孩！你不走我就不走。”
小嗝嗝继续努力着，他在寒风中瑟瑟发抖，手指麻木了，他的龙皮服上可怜地染上了红色。
继续，继续，小嗝嗝还在努力着。
十分钟过去了。现在沙子肯定更湿了，地平线上的大海若隐若现地靠近。
十五分钟过去了……
但他现在快成功了，他能感觉到，快成功了……
噢，太好了！
锁在他手中打开，陷阱解开了。
当这发生的时候感觉是如此美妙。
“正是时候，”小嗝嗝喘着气说。
致命影龙发出三声胜利的吼叫，拍打着他有力的翅膀，飞向高空，在空中盘旋。
他伸手把小嗝嗝从沙滩上抓起来。小嗝嗝把手伸向正在空中飞行的巨龙，他感到一个湿乎乎的可怕东西用一种可怕的力量抓住了他的脚踝……
“Hiccup！！！”卡米卡琪尖叫道...
...这时一只巨大的龙爪，末端长着巨大的眼睛，把小嗝嗝拖下去，一直，一直，拖到沙子下面。
22. WHAT HAPPENED NEXT There was a pause on the red sands as the dragons finished telling their tale. ‘Well, I will tell you,’ said Hiccup, ‘what happened to the baby after you lost sight of him. He was washed up on Long Beach, and the Tribe built a hut for him to live in. A Long-Eared Caretaker Dragon looked after him, and he turned out to be my best friend, Fishlegs.’ ‘You see?’ said Innocence. ‘I always said how he must have survived, and you two never believed me.’ The three heads sighed. ‘I have to say,’ admitted Arrogance, ‘I never dreamed that there could have been a happy end to that story.’ ‘There’s always hope,’ said Innocence. The Deadly Shadow’s three heads were lying on the sand, looking back into the past. And then, quite suddenly, Hiccup thought that the sand below his knees was feeling just a little wetter than it had before. He looked at the horizon. The tide was coming in…
