Arthur‘s Nightmare
The sky is gray and looks like a black and white photo. Arthur stood alone on the beach. The waves condense like ice. Rather than just the waves freezing, everything in front of Arthur seemed to freeze, even the seagulls flying in the sky were still. Just like time solidified at this moment. Suddenly, Arthur saw a shadow not far away. Under the gray sky and the white sand, Arthur could not see the shadow clearly. Arthur waved his hand and wanted the shadow to notice him. To Arthur's surprise, the shadow also waved. Their movements were surprisingly consistent. "It's like looking in the mirror." Arthur thought for a while, facing The shadow shouted: "Who are you? The shadow seems to hear Arthur's voice and starts walking away." Wait! Arthur tried to catch up with the shadow, but he suddenly realized he couldn't move. He looked at his feet. His feet seemed to be stuck in the sand, like cement, unable to move. When Arthur looked up again, he saw the shadow standing in front of him, so close to him. Strangely, Arthur couldn’t see the shadow’s face in a distant place, and even this shadow appeared in front of him. His face, including his body, was completely black, not just plain black. While Arthur was still observing the shadow's face, suddenly the shadow began to change, its color changed from black to white, then to red, green, and yellow, and soon its color changed quickly, which Arthur could not recognize The actual color of this shadow. Such frequent color changes made Arthur's eyes very uncomfortable. He rubbed his eyes and opened them, and then he saw that the shadow stopped changing his color and became a man's face.
