什么是参禅帝国？

今年是2020年，感觉不少B站的朋友们已经接触过克苏鲁神话了。不过大家一看到参禅帝国四个字会感到陌生，还是很正常的。
在洛夫克拉夫特（爱手艺）留下的全部文字之中，The Cruel Empire of Tsan-Chan（残酷的参禅帝国）只出现过两次，分别在：
超越睡梦之墙（Beyond the Wall of Sleep）：“...or in the cruel empire of Tsan-Chan which is to come three thousand years hence.”
和
超越时光之影（The Shadow out of Time）：“I talked with the mind of Yiang-Li, a philosopher from the cruel empire of Tsan-Chan, which is to come in A.D. 5000...”
