【Short Story】The Wind and The Dandelion(6)

Now, all the people here have drawn a vicious face for him. Only I know that he just wanted to leave me the chance of life. The next day, I received the newspaper titled “Police cracked strange case rescued abused girl”. I grabbed the newspaper, went through the discharge formalities, and returned to our house under the guidance of the police.
In the unattended garden, dandelions had only poles left. The wind stopped, and dandelions could only fall.
What if true justice cannot be done by just means?

I invited that man's parents in the name of gratitude and learned the way of him, cutting and burying them. I enjoyed watching their horrified eyes before death. Oh! This is the fun of the abuser! We were not to blame, but the whole world!
After doing everything, I lay in bed and looked at the dandelions. The wind brought some to distant places. I know they'll have new lives and continue to follow the footsteps of the wind.
