文章整体的态度是对科比表示肯定，但绝不是致敬，因为查阅Wikipedia里面相关资料和经济学人以前发表的一些讣告材料，显示这刊物写任何伟大的人物的讣告都是轻描淡写，基本不会去致敬任何伟人，因为他们不需要跪舔任何国家任何人，但是有趣的是经济学人在脱欧这件事情上非常的上头，心力交瘁的写各种分析脱欧事宜。这就是奉为标准的英语外刊学习资料来描述科比之事，借着科比坠机事件，说说这件小事，也表深切怀恋。
