The big eyes of Lydia had already lost their sparkle, but still opened innocently, which seemed like she stared at the splattered blood on the foot of the front wall, as if she didn’t totally expect she would die before she was killed.
I already have a lot of experience in murder detection cases, and I rushed to say “We could see the splashing blood on the wall where 20 cm high from the head of the decedent. The fell down position of the decedent is the original position of suffering from hitting. The cornea is still clear, the livor mortis begins to form, and combine the rigor mortis situation, we could deduce that the death time should be about five hours.”
“Five hours ago, was exactly six thirty in the afternoon, time to go home from work. It is identical with the dropping of the key from the door.” Baron continued to say.
I asked the colleagues of funeral parlour to take the corpse into the mortuary vehicle after we finished the on-site autopsy inspection, in order to the further autopsy examination in the anatomy room. Baron still paced in the living room for searching more valuable clues.
The living room seemed as if it had been cleaned, there were no any valuable traces. Even the sofa, the coffee table and the TV cabinet are spotless, which showed that the deceased should be a diligent person before her death. Suddenly, Baron focused his sights on one pair of Men’s slippers at the door. I followed his sights and found a pair of dark blue men’s flannelette slippers which neatly placed in a hidden corner at the door, which implied that the owner of the house is more than one person.
