then, there comes the blur... from my memory, or my aunt's words... there came a confusion... wait, not yet or... already there, maybe, i am not sure... anyway, mao didnt want to pay wen's bills, claiming that the money was for his son. mao and wen had and only had one daughter, but wen wasnt mao's first wife.
after wen died, mao didnt want to live in his house. coz he was too afraid of the ghosts. i was thinking, wait that doesn't make sense, coz wen died in her parents' house, not mao's... but i didnt ask and continued the listen... anyway, mao still can be scared living in the house, even if his wife died somewhere else, as long as he felt guilty, the house doesnt matter.
that was when mao wanted to sell that house, he would more likely rent a house rather than living in theirs.
by the law, if a person is died, without any last words, his or her property will be equally divided into several shares to all his or her first class of relatives, which including husband/wife, sons/daughters, and parents so, the house was a property of both wen and mao. after wen died, and since wen's only daughter was just a child, in order to sell that house, mao wanted wen's parents signed the paper, that claiming they will give up their share of wen's property.
