The most impressive one was the daughter of the family, Katie. Although the whole book does not separate chapters from her perspective, she is closely related to the actions of every character. The elder son, Quentin, desperately embraced the so-called old tradition in the south, because Katie"s romantic nature, love and hate, grief and indignation drowned suicide.
Mrs. komp was a selfish and cold "patient". She must be concerned only with herself. She never forgot the identity of the southern lady, dragged the whole family, and accelerated the decline of the Compson family. Katie lived in the repressed darkness, free from the bondage of the "boudoir", but walked over the head, was dissolute, was pregnant with the boys, and married another man.
But she could not escape the discarded fate. Poor is the private girl, also called Quentin.
