小八是一条秋田犬，因为主人突然离世，它在火车站苦等了十年。十年对我们来说是人生的一个阶段，但对狗来说是它的一生。虽然小八用它的一生还是没换来主人的到来，但它就是用自己的坚持，表达着对主人的守候，它至死不渝。我一口气读完这本书，心情久久不能平静，眼里满含泪水，是怎样的一种精神让它坚持了十年？是狗性的忠诚，还是人狗情深？不管是什么缘由，小八经历的十年世事变迁、风雨饥寒、孤独等待让人动容，十年的坚持，让人肃然起敬。我如饥似渴地读着，在我眼中，没有了喧嚣和浮躁，有的只有敬佩和震撼！
