《鹳鸟》讲的是屋子上有一个鹳鸟巢，里面住着一只鹳鸟妈妈和它的四个孩子。有一群小孩嘲笑鹳鸟，其中有一个叫彼得的孩子说讥笑动物是一桩罪过，他不愿参加。鹳鸟为了感谢他就送给他一个弟弟。
《皇帝的新装》讲的是有两个骗子来到皇宫里，说能为皇帝做一件最美丽的衣服，皇帝相信了他们的话。几天过去了，他们在织布机上做着织布的动作，但是织布机上什么也没有。他们却说衣服做好了，并且说谁看不见谁就是最愚蠢的人，所有的人都不敢说看不见。于是皇帝在游行大典时，所有的人都说衣服太漂亮了！突然人群里有一个小男孩说皇帝什么也没穿，所有的人也开始这么说。皇帝开始发抖，他觉得老百姓说的话是对的。但是他还是想务必把这次游行大典进行完毕。
