论读书读后感英文版选录(16)

当你在浩瀚书海当中无从选择之时,可以选择读好书、读经典。个人以为,这个好书的标准,不能以市场销量为准,也莫以书评宣传为准;没有把握时,以时间做为标尺,是选择的最好标准。一本书能流传几千年而仍然被传阅拜读,必定有其魅力所在。
而具体是什么类型的书籍,则可以根据自己的喜好和需要而定。读什么样的书,会形成什么样的性格,“凡有所学,皆成性格”。譬如原本就是自卑退缩的人,不愿面对现实,若还沉浸在虚无幻想的书籍当中,看似寻求到一丝安慰,实际却是让自己更加脱离现实生活,愈发与这个社会脱节。再譬如心怀仇恨,读些血腥暴力的书籍,在文字中刀光剑影,似乎很是畅快,但过后呢?心中无爱,如何感受幸福快乐?
因此,一本书对你是否有益,不在于此时此刻是否让你感觉好受些,更在于对你今后发展是否有益,对你的身心健康是否有利。
开卷有益,这是亘古不变的真理。但如果让读书有益于自己,只在于如何读书,读怎样的书,以及读书之后如何运用。
