Here, I want to appreciate Xia Peng, the contester of 2004. His way to deliver his speech gave me a deep impression. I think he is a natural speaker, he didn’t like other contesters to remember his words, and he used an efficient way to express his content that seemed he had understood it in his mind and no need to recite it. What’s more, he was very good at attract people’s attention through a humor way, like telling a short story or use Russell’s famous essay “ What I Have Lived for ” to lead to his speech.

He was every clever to apply these ways in delivering his speech, though we also have learnt these before, we can not use it like him. I also think he was quite confident because he dared to express his opinion, he spoke loudly and clearly that made people have interests to hear his speech. These are his charm and ability. Honestly speaking，I admire his good qualities, his confidence and his humorous and his cleverness.
