His mistake was depended on science too much. Simon is a mysterious man of them. He may be a symbol of religion and being a far seer. He made a lot of great prophesies which were all correct.
And the last of them is Roger, a helper of jack who was a shy boy at first but was the most important helper of Jack at last and killed Piggy with his hands.
This novel shows at last the wilderness beat the civilization. It shows that when people were in the worst circumstance they will become a beast. And a beast has less rules, they just fight against each other with the body. In my opinion , I think Golding is too realistic that is become not such more reality. I don’t think this will happen if this is a true story.
