昆汀果真只是“回收利用电影么”?《姜戈》已经悄然作了解答，重复的只是“暴力”这一永不过时的电影美学元素，纵马奔驰、快意恩仇、白花溅血，这些风格上的表达，昆汀毫不含糊，完全继承了约翰·福特、塞尔吉奥·莱昂内等人的西部片精神，可以回味片中两代姜戈的会面，无疑正代表着致敬和薪火相传。但更重要的是，昆汀并不拘泥于类型的约束，尝试种种可能，如同片尾已然自我解放的姜戈一样，直奔着创作上的更多自由而去，我相信，还有无限可能等着他。
