清代是中国古代瓷器发展的最后一个高峰，尤以康、雍、乾时期为突出。釉上彩分五彩、斗彩、粉彩和珐琅彩。五彩瓷器以“康熙五彩”最为突出，造型丰富，除红、黄、绿三色，还发明了釉上蓝和黑色，这件五彩百鸟朝凤盘，器形规整，画面生动，实为五彩佳作。
