Forrest Gump tells the story of the life of Forrest Gump, an American boy with an IQ of only 75 but a wise mother. Forrest Gump was often bullied by other boys in his childhood because of his low IQ and poor legs. Until one time, when Forrest Gump was running away from other boys, the football coach noticed him by accident. He went to college, played football and made a name for himself.
Later he joined the army and met his friend Blu. But the good times did not last long Blu died in the Vietnam War, Forrest Gump is very sad, recuperating in the hospital, he plans his own plan, to complete Blus last wish. Several reunions with childhood friend Ginny make the whole story even more exciting...
After reading this book, I remember one of the golden sayings throughout the book: "Life is like a box of chocolates. You never know what youre going to get."
