PARAGRAPHS(EXCERPT-VOLUME I)(4)
§My father can’t write prose poems, there’re only the dates of him working for others in his diary book. The calluses are all over father’s hands. He isn’t talkative, he can’t speak any fine words. He is normal, he can’t give me anything, but he gives me everything.
§A piece of news said, a man got cancer, to save money for his family, he decided not to receive treatment. At night on the bed, I asked husband, “If I get incurable disease in the future, will you cure me?” He was about to fall asleep, and half-asleep said, “Don’t talk nonsense…of course I will, even if going bankrupt!” I said, “What if you get the disease?” He said, “Then don’t cure me.” I asked, “Why?” He said, “You’ll be left, it’s hard to make money by yourself.”
