Karrson hesitated, and hunter did not move.
“Fine. If you are still considering the possibility of me working against my brother, then I will tell you this. He told me personally that just after history class ended, you, Hunter, had beaten Karrson with a unicorn plush toy that belonged to another classmate. Now get moving already.”
Karrson dropped the other half of suspicion that he clung on to even after Emmerich’s declaration of his identity. He ran and followed Emmerich, and out of the corner of his eye he saw Hunter following reluctantly.
