"If Juwain dies," said Henderson, "that concept dies with him. May be lost forever."
"I'll try," said Webster. "I'll try—"
Henderson's eyes were hard. "Is that the best you can do?"
"That is the best," said Webster.
"But, man, you must have a reason! Some explanation."
