Unrelated point. I feel like Klein is missing out a great deal by not using his Spirit Vision. He’s mentioned a few times in the past that he’s noticed people acting strangely but he can’t interpret why because he isn’t a Spectator. If he used his Sprit Vision to determine their emotions it would almost be like he’s a budget Telepathist. His Spirit vision was already quite useful at Sequence 9 and now that he’s Sequence 5 it should be very powerful. Especially when talking to more ordinary people.
Speaking of old beyonder powers. Didn’t Klein purchase an entire book ‘Quintessential Divination and Arcane Arts of the Qin and Han Dynasties.’ If his luck enhancement ritual that he uses to access the gray fog came from there there are good odds that the rest of the book is real as well. He can use Dream divination to remember! If a random ritual granted the gray fog who knows what kind of crazy powers the rest could provide. Obviously it’s highly dangerous but if he manages to divine the danger beforehand it’s probably well worth the attempts. A god in more than name!
