Rod stops to look around when he reaches his apartment complex, and smiles at how beautiful it is here. It’s always pretty peaceful here, especially when it’s not raining.
他把钥匙留在家里，这样钥匙就不会放错地方，但他希望钥匙不会跑到街上的某个地方。
当罗德到达他的公寓大楼时，他停下来环顾四周，并对这里的美丽微笑。这里总是很安静，尤其是不下雨的时候。
Today, for example, it looks like it’s going to rain. But not much, and not very heavily either. Just enough to dampen Rod’s mood. He sighs and continues on his way, trying not to let the weather ruin his day.
例如，今天看起来要下雨了。但不是很多，也不是很严重。刚好够让罗德扫兴。他叹了口气，继续赶路，尽量不让天气毁了他的一天。
After leaving the coffee shop and heading to his office he sets his laptop down and takes a seat, closing his eyes and leaning back in his chair. He takes a sip of his tea and lets it warm his insides. He doesn’t usually drink tea this cold.
离开咖啡店去办公室后，他放下笔记本，坐下，闭上眼睛，靠在椅子上。他喝了一口茶，让它温暖他的内心。他通常不喝这么冷的茶。
It tastes like water but it’s not bad. If he ever got a chance to drink tea like that he would definitely pick it over Starbucks’. He’s never had a chance to actually try their stuff so that’s a first. He also hasn’t tried them on purpose, but he’s heard rumors from a couple of people in his department that they have good tea.
