那晚回到家……

It was 9 o'clock when I came back home from a day's hardworking.I was super exhausted though. I took a quick shower, grabbed a loaf of bread buttered and prepared myself a cup of hot tea. I took a big bite of bread as I walking through the living room towards the fireplace.Having picked up several logs, I lit them sophisticatedly. I stepped back a little ,squated to crouch, reached out for a blanket put casually on the rocking chair behind me and tucked myself.Comfortably as I sat,I took a sip of tea and took another bite of bread.I began to drift off before I reput the unburnt logs into the fire. Occasionally,from the corner of my eye,I noticed a delicate box, inside which was a necklace festooned with colored ribbons around. The temperature in the house was rising,which dried the hair back my neck. My feet were filled with warmth.Around me was the room with an atmosphere of silence and peacefulness, except the crack spontaneously coming from the flames flickered on and off. It was a gift that he sent me two days ago. I was riveted on it now. For the record, he didn't impress me too much. He came to me and said in an imperious voice," you've just done a great job except serving me such a terrible cup of tea ever",and then he gave me a sardonic smile. I felt offended and embarrassed at that time.But now I was wondering about what changes had been made between us after we've been getting along for almost a year. He became more considerable, respectable and kind not only to me but also to others .When thinking of this, I took the rest of bread and tea,chuckling.
