Nightfall
Raindrops of cluster,
Covering up the car’s gloomy glass.
Glimmers of lustre,
Flickering through the cold moisty gas.
The road,
Smoothly reflects twilight stars,
I gaze,
Gently at the leaching skies.
They all say,
That every star has a reason to spark.
Forgetting,
Those who have sunk alone into the dark.
Deeper and Deeper,
Never could be seen.
Why do you always have stars at night?
Why illusions and dreams always blight?
I quietly asked the Endless Darkness,
Watching the sun losing colours to starkness.
My destination is still far away,
Lost in circling game like a prey.
But the car continues to move on,
Like the clock ticking before the dawn.
End.
Covering up the car’s gloomy glass.
Glimmers of lustre,
Flickering through the cold moisty gas.
The road,
Smoothly reflects twilight stars,
I gaze,
Gently at the leaching skies.
They all say,
That every star has a reason to spark.
Forgetting,
Those who have sunk alone into the dark.
Deeper and Deeper,
Never could be seen.
Why do you always have stars at night?
Why illusions and dreams always blight?
I quietly asked the Endless Darkness,
Watching the sun losing colours to starkness.
My destination is still far away,
Lost in circling game like a prey.
But the car continues to move on,
Like the clock ticking before the dawn.
End.
